The Kent 35 is an evouloution of the the Kent 33, a design proven over 15 years and 1000's of nautical miles. With traditional styling and design this boat is equally suited to local or long distance cruising whether on rivers open sea, across estuaries or on Europe's inland waterways.
Hull
The long deep keel and skeg provides you a safe and secure passage in the sharpest of seas and offers complete protection to the prop and rudder. Cruising comfortably at 8 knots the boat is powered by a single shaft driven 140hp Nanni diesel engine. Thrusters at both bow and stern give you complete control when entering and leaving your mooring.
Deck
When boarding the boat there are large handrails either side of the side boarding gate. Once onboard a number of features allow you to move safely and easily around the boat ,these include high guardrails wide sidedecks and plentiful handrails.
In the cockpit you experience the all around canopy and integrated hardtop which transforms this area to an extension of the accommodation. The cockpit has comfortable seating, dining table and generous storage lockers. The boarding platform, cockpit, wheelhouse and side deck to the side boarding gate are all on the same level.

Opening the double wheelhouse doors reveals a world of luxury and craftsmanship. The sapele joinery work and plush upholstery contribute to the homely feeling onboard. To port is a bespoke helm seat, made to measure for the helm. In front of the helm is everything needed for passage making, chartplotter, autopilot, VHF and secondary instruments are all easily viewable.

The Phyllis B at the request of the owner was designed with a larger lower saloon and smaller wheelhouse, the other alternative option is a larger wheelhouse with galley and saloon at deck level, this also offers the possibility of a guest cabin an example of this is shown in the Kent 33.
